He was predeceased by: his parents, Gene Stewart and Helen Earline Robbins (Ellington); his stepparents, Jack Maynard and Joyce Robbins (Wiechmann); and his sister Sharon Shaughnessy.
He is survived by: his children, Michelle Cornelius of Orlando, Sara Blumenshine (Adam) of Creve Coeur and Lonnie Robbins (Amy) of Travelers Rest; his grandchildren, Brandon Robbins, Kayla Steele, Gabriel Robbins, Faith Robbins, Elizabeth Blumenshine, Addison Blumenshine, Aleah Blumenshine, Samara Blumenshine and Eli Blumenshine; his siblings, Donald Robbins of Marquette Heights, Patricia Cook (Ernest) of East Peoria, Phyllis Hansen (Johannes) of Grandview and Debra Rockwell (Timothy) of Bluffton, Indiana.; and his mother-in-law Shirley Christie of Bloomington.
