She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Lee McElya; her children, Keith Merritt (Sabrina) of South Pekin and Laura Crump (Rich) of Toulon; her stepsons, Jeremy McElya (Kim) of Washington and Mike McElya (Caroline) of Murphysboro; her grandchildren, Colin Merritt (Brie), Cayden Merritt, Oliver McElya, Evelyn McElya, Avery McElya, Shelby Guede, Tristian Hulsey and Symon Smith; her great grandchildren, Deacan Merritt and Zeeland Merritt; and her siblings, William McBride of Pekin and Shannon Klich (Mike) of Colorado Springs, Colorado..
