He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Emert and Pauline Emert (Huston); and his brothers, Gregory Emert and Terry Emert. He is survived by: his wife Debra Smith; his daughters, Tina Devall (David) of Manito, Devin Boles (Christopher) of East Peoria and Elizabeth Emert of Creve Coeur; his nieces, Becky Grimes (Bryan) of Pekin and Patti Rawlings (Jim) of Manito; and his siblings, Ronald Emert (Connie) of Texas and Bonita Cole of Creve Coeur. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, bonus kids and grandkids.
