He is survived by: his son Joey Frakes; his brothers, John Frakes and David Frakes; his children, Virginia Frakes, Kathryn "Katy" Richardson (Darold), Wendell Frakes (Pete), Michelle Frakes and Jimmy Willis; and his sisters, Betty Pierson (Carl) and Mary Robertson. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
