He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold T. Jones and Helen Jones (Fulton); his son Daniel Robert Jones; his great grandchildren, Titus Jones and Cubb Jones; his siblings, Shirley Jones and Timothy Jones; and his siblings-in-law, Sandra McFadden and Joe McFadden.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Brinkley; his children, Diane Hemp (Mike) of Metamora and Tom Jones (Deb) of North Port; his grandchildren, Marisa Bollinger (Cory) of East Peoria, Danielle Keen (Kevin) of Tremont, Rob Jones (Stephanie) of Groveland, Emily Thigpen (Bryan) of Creve Coeur, Stephanie Aeschliman (Mark) of Metamora, Brad Hemp (Tanya) of Germantown Hills, Heather Jones (Aly) of Cincinnati, Holly Miller (Brett) of Venice and Brett Jones (Alyssa) of Fulton, Missouri; his daughter-in-law Michele "Mickey" Jones of Creve Coeur; and his sister-in-law Monica Jones of Trivoli. He is also survived by twenty-three great-grandchildren; one great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory (405 Rusche St, Creve Coeur, IL 61610). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
