He was predeceased by: his parents, William Maddox and Goldie Maddox (Rifley); his son Jerry Maddox, Jr.; his siblings, Carl Maddox, William Maddox, Paul Maddox, Robert Maddox, Marilyn Williams and Ellen Jane Lynch; and his grandson Steven Kessler.
He is survived by: his wife Loretta Miller; his daughter Margaret "Renee" Williams of Butler, Alabama; his grandchildren, Timmy, Sarah, Cody and Taylor; and his siblings, Donald Maddox (Lillian) of Washington, Richard Maddox (Melody) of Texas, Patricia Hendrick of Bartonville and Sharon Merrill (Robert) of Peoria. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
