He is survived by: his wife Betty Sue Grugett; his children, Kelly Adams of Creve Coeur and James Adams, Jr. of Mississippi; his grandchildren, Jonathon Adams, Amanda Adams and Logan Adams; and his brothers, Paul Adams, Jr. of Meadow Bridge and Charles Adams of Pekin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
