He was predeceased by: his father Gregory Keyes,; his grandfather Fred Grotz; his brother James "Jay" Keyes; and his stepsister Kathy Rauhous. He is survived by: his mother Carolyn Keyes, Sr. (Grotz); his significant other Mikki Franklin of Creve Coeur; his son Gregory Keyes (Katie) of Waukesha, Wisconsin; his grandmother Marilyn Grotz of East Peoria; his daughter Elizabeth Morrissey (Ray) of Peoria; his grandchildren, Aurora Keyes, Irelynn Morrissey, Coben Morrissey and Tage Morrissey; his stepsiblings, James Drake of Morton and Cheryl Draear (Doug) of Tremont; and his aunts, Denise Hansard (Stan) of Farmington and Dee Mooney of Morton.
