He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur H. Ahten and Rosalie Ahten (Combs). He is survived by: his wife Barbara J. Peterlin; his children, Julie Stickelmaier (Dan) of Bartonville and Jerry Ahten (Tammy) of Newark, Missouri; his grandchildren, Jason Ahten (Sarah), Brooke Cox (Gabe), Michelle Crouch (Bryant) and Kimberly Terry (Nick); and his sister Peggy Ahten of East Peoria.
