She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie B. Metts and Louise T. Metts (Scotts); her children, Joyce Barnes and Carlos Peyton; her granddaughter Jacolby Thomas; and her siblings, Willie Ella, Evelyn Taylor, Clara Belle and Willie Metts.
She is survived by: her grandson Omeretires Barnes, Sr. (Felicia) of Peoria; and her siblings, Shirley Metts of Peoria, Rose Marie of Camden, David Metts of Winston-Salem and Jimmy Metts of Camden. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren.
