He was predeceased by: his children, David Walters and Beth Ann Walters; his grandson George Robert Obourn, Jr.; and his siblings, Brian, Les, Bobby Walters and Lorraine Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Suzanne Schorr; his daughters, Debrann Obourn (George) of Melbourne, Rosemary Kalkman (Robert) of Creve Coeur and Heather Walters of Creve Coeur; and his brother Bob Cook of Pekin.
