It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlene Myra Nelson of Creve Coeur, Illinois, who passed away on October 16, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley John and Lela M. Scott (Hurd); and her siblings, Rosamond, Marjorie, Neal, Donald and Kenny.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Nelson (Julie) of Freeport, Mark Nelson (Bambi) of Peoria and Jeffrey Nelson (Pat) of Peoria. She is also survived by five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
