It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Connita Rose Westerfield of Creve Coeur, Illinois, born in Mount Erie, Illinois, who passed away on July 30, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Reuben Whirrell and Fern Whirrell (Marks); her husband Samuel L. Westerfield; her daughter Laura Kennell; and her siblings, Delores Riddle and John Whirrell.

She is survived by: her children, Michael Kennell of Creve Coeur and Anna Tieman (Michael) of Lowpoint, IL; her stepchildren, Darren Westerfield and Lisa Lochirco; and her grandsons, David Kennell and Jeremy Tieman.
