It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alta Leigh Strother of Creve Coeur, Illinois, born in Canton, Illinois, who passed away on May 8, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vern Walton and Lucille Gilmore Walton; her husband Charles H. Strother; and her brother Warren Walton. She is survived by: her daughters, Jodi Adams (Paul Cameron) and Kimberly Sale (Carl Reedy); her stepson Chuck Strother (Glenda); her grandchildren, Danyelle Hedrick (David), Justin Sale, Bryce Sale and Amber Reedy (Tyler Maples); her stepgrandchildren, Jonathan Strother (Tara), Brittany Strother and Joshua Strother; and her siblings, Melinda Walton (Mike), Troy Walton and Cecelia Poppenhager-Askins. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
