It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley I. Slover of Crete, Illinois, who passed away on August 24, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Homer Slover; her former husband Alex "Red" DeSandre; her children, Richard Huber, John DeSandre and Shirley Davis (late Jim); and her siblings, Corky, Skippy, Ann, Jean and Dave.

She is survived by: her children, Jonette Joseph, Antonia King (John), Angelina Caprio, Jon and Al Santiago (Benjamin); and her brothers, Tom and Mike. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
