We are sad to announce that on December 16, 2021, at the age of 92, Richard E. Vandenberg of Crete, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his children, Marcia Morris (Timothy), Kenneth Vandenberg and Allen Vandenberg (Carol); and his siblings, Charles Vandenberg and Jean Smith.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia Vandenberg; and his son Wayne Vandenberg (Barb). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
