It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peter Onate Jr. of Crete, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on August 15, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Peter Onate and Lupe Onate (Dianda) of Crete; his siblings, Rick Onate of Crete, Elsie Singleton of Crete and Cynthia Clark of Michigan City, Indiana.; his nephew Jason Onate; and his niece Felice S. Hybert. He was also cherished by many cousins, great cousins, great nephews and several friends.
