He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Carol Barnes; his children, Brenda Davis (Nathan), Melanie Aitken (Nick), Mark Barnes (Deanne), Charles Barnes and Brian Barnes (Gina); his parents, Dolly Barnes and Marcus E. Barnes; and his brother Robert Barnes (Alice). He was also cherished by 16 grandchildren with one deceased and six great-grandchildren.
