The memory of Marcella J. Huisenga of Crete, Illinois, who passed away on April 8, 2025 at the age of 94, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her husband Alfred Huisenga; her parents, Ralph Brandsma and Grada Brandsma; and her brother Gerald Brandsma (late Anna Mae). She is survived by: her daughters, Sherry Van Deraa (Paul) and Judy Boersema; her grandchildren, Ryan Van Deraa (Emily), Amy Bousema (Brett), Bryce Van Deraa (Audrey), Jason Van Deraa (Megan), Leah (Aaron) of Jager and Marc Boersema; and her great grandchildren, Marc, Griffin, Eleanor, Vivian, Clara, Margot, Landon, Hannah, Morgan, Tanner, Silas, Levi, Ava, Elliot, Owen and Evelyn.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Emmanuel Christian Reformed Church (22515 Torrence Ave, Sauk Village, IL 60441). A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
