With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Lucille M. Christian of Crete, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her husband Michael Christian; her sisters, Rose Marie Baron (late Jerome), Anna Mae Zamarocy (late Charles), Barbara Herman (late Joseph), Virginia Bradley (Alton), Patricia Fowlie (late Phillip) and Christina DeLuca (Frank); and her parents, Michael DeLorenzo and Anna Mae DeLorenzo.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Vera Christian.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smits Funeral Home (2121 Pleasant Springs Ln, Dyer, IN 46311). A prayer was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Liborius Catholic Church (71 W 35th St, Steger, IL 60475). A burial was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
