He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank and Isabel (Boyle); and his sisters, Isabel Broadus (Barney), Esther Armstrong (Frank), Dorothy Katrein (Marty) and Mildred Kolberg (Verne "Red").
He is survived by: his girlfriend Sandra Drolet; his children, Mary Boles (Tom), Jeanne Lizen (Eugene), Stephen, Daniel (Vicki), Gerard (Vivian) and David (Karen); his sister-in-law Alice Eichelkraut; and his brothers, Harold (Alice) and Frank (Mary Ellen). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
