He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Gibbs and W. Lola Crow Gibbs; and his sister Marilyn Gibbs. He is survived by: his cousin Rosemary Cook (Lloyd) of Viola; and his granddaughter Mary Wille of Crete.
