It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeannine Goldsmith of Crete, Illinois, who passed away on June 9, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Harold H. Goldsmith; her son Kevin (Becky); her parents, Joseph Lupe and Winifred Lupe; her brothers, Joseph Lupe (Laura), John Lupe (Gail) and James Lupe; and her close friend Sylvia Lieberman.
She is survived by: her children, Shirley Johnson, Edward (Diane), Kathy Martine (Sonny), Theresa Goldsmith, Robert (Georgia), Donald, James (Dina Jobbe) and David Goldsmith (Tracy).
In lieu of flowers, donations of non-perishable food items for the benefit of St. James Catholic Church food pantry, St. Joseph soup kitchen, or Meals on Wheels, greatly appreciated.
