With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James I. Wagner of Crete, Illinois, who passed away on July 31, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint James leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Robert Wagner (Renee), Michael Wagner, Pamela Hjerpe (Gary), Susan Huisman (late Jeff), Jean Spathis (Gregg) and Mary Knobloch (Steve); and his sisters, Barbara Strickler (late Charles) and Margaret Schaal (late Edgar).
