He was predeceased by: his sister Harriet Santefort (late Lester); and his parents, Harry DeYoung and Louise DeYoung. He is survived by: his wife Cornelia DeYoung; his children, Alan DeYoung (Julia), Lisa Triemstra (Rick), Laura Veldhuizen (John), Russell DeYoung (Julie), Glen DeYoung (Julie) and Steven DeYoung (Jennifer); his stepson Randy Nydam (Lisa); his grandchildren, Amanda DeYoung, Kimberly Quirk (Sean), Robert Triemstra (Dawn), Jennifer Boer (Kevin), Rebecca Coffelt (Brian), Jacob Veldhuizen (Shawna), Danielle Giles (Van), Katy Suppes (Will), Kristin DaCorte (Aaron), Olivia DeYoung (Josh), Loralee DeYoung, Arie DeYoung, Peter DeYoung, Alexander DeYoung (Taylor) and Benjamin DeYoung (Naomi); his stepgrandson Liam Nydam; and his great grandchildren, Dylan, Kirsten, Alexis, Jackson, Sydney, Zachary, Logan, Connor, Nolan, Molly, Myles, Blake, Monty, Knox, Declan, Calum, Cyrus, Hayden and Emery.
