It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herbert L. Fleming of Crete, Illinois, born in Harvey, Illinois, who passed away on April 14, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert W. Fleming and Margaret Lambert Fleming of Virginia; his wife Dorothy Fleming; and his daughter Becky Slagle. He is survived by: his daughters, Sharon (Michael), Karen (Chris Doig) and Debbie (Mark Henderson); his sister Annette Fleming Lange of Naples, FL.; his grandchildren, Rachel Doyle of Crete, IL, Jackson Doig of Concord, CA, Zachary Doig of Austin, TX, Josh Duncan, Jamie Wilson of Terrell, TX, Jason Hataway of Plano, TX and Lauren Hataway of Richardson, TX; his great grandchild Kason Duncan of Terrell, TX.; and his caregivers, Velma, Cavazos, Alisha Teneyuca and Herb. He is also survived by uncle to his nieces and nephew.
