He was predeceased by: his wife Emily; his son Keith McGrath; his parents, Irene McGrath and George McGrath; and his brother Henry C. Ritz (late Mabel).
He is survived by: his sons, David McGrath, Herbert McGrath and Vincent McGrath; and his sisters, Mary Jane Mullen (late James) and Gertrude Wiedmeyer (late Orville).
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Herb's name to Kankakee Catholic Charities MMP Program, 249 S. Schuyler Avenue, Suite 300, Kankakee IL 60901 would be appreciated by the McGrath family.
