He was predeceased by: his son Donald. He is survived by: his wife Lubea; his children, Fred (Joni), LouAnn Generous (Curtis) and Carolyn Scanlan-Holmes (Andrew); and his sister Emily Chenette. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 4 great – great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Crete United Methodist Church.
