He is survived by: his wife Sharon Van Etten; his children, Susan Pikal (Kerry), Mary Pat Drew (William), Lori O'Connor (Peter), Bernard Van Etten III, Michael Van Etten (Mary Elizabeth), Amy Rappel (Kevin), Becky Cheney (Thomas) and Thomas Van Etten (Barbara); his grandchildren, Katie, Jack Ziltz, Billy, Maggie Drew, Nora, Clare, Owen O'Connor, Henry, Kelly, Charlie, Timmy, Annie Van Etten, James, Grace Rappel, Megan, Kathleen, Tommy Cheney, Bridget, Maeve and Kate Van Etten; his sisters, Kathleen Hall (Jack), Elaine Cassidy (Emmet) and Nancy Haske (Tony); his siblings-in-law, Eddie Birdsall (Jan) and Kathleen Van Etten; and also Many.
