She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin C. Paape Sr. Loving; her siblings, Arnold Richardson, Clarence Richardson, Glenn Richardson, Charles Richardson, Marie Mattera and Yvonne Luhman; and her parents, Charles Richardson and Jessie Marie Richardson.
She is survived by: her children, Melvin C. Paape Jr., Valerie Harrell (late John), Michael Paape (Teresia), Vanessa Paape-Young and Myron Paape.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Smits-Steger Memorial Chapel (3045 Chicago Rd, Steger, IL 60475). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (1393 Elizabeth St, Crete, IL 60417). A graveside service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery (25249 S Dixie Hwy, Crete, IL 60417).
