Nelida A. Matulis Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nelida A. Matulis (Crestwood, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 3, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Nelida may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Antonio Matulis; her daughters, Silvia Miarka and Claudia Ryan (John); and her grandsons, Nicholas and Zachary (Elizabeth).
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Becvar & Son Funeral Home & Cremation (5539 W 127th St, Crestwood, IL 60418). A prayer will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Terrence Catholic Church (4300 W 119th Pl, Alsip, IL 60803).
