Michael J. Grages Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael J. Grages of Crestwood, Illinois, who passed away on March 2, 2023, at the age of 36, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father George Grages. He is survived by: his mother Theresa Neubauer; his son Mason Grages; his sisters, Jennifer Grages (Brittany), Gina Grossman (Jeremy) and Jillian Grages (Jon); his nieces, Ava and Olivia; and his close friends, Katie Mazalin (Baudo), Michelle Amato and Phil Babich. He is also survived by several aunts and uncles; many cousins and friends.

In his last selfless act here on earth, Michael donated all of his organs to save the lives of 8 people, and up to 75 lives through tissue donation. The family members, friends and communities of those who receive his donated organs or tissue will be forever impacted by their improved quality of life, made possible through these selfless gifts.
