He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Varney and Delphine Varney; and his siblings, Roland M. Varney, Gary Michael Varney, Phillip Roy Varney and Cora Lou Phillips.
He is survived by: his wife Mari C. Varney; his sons, John C. Varney, Ronald L. Varney (Celeste L. Varney) and William D. Varney; his siblings, Phyllis Fischer and Carl Ray Varney; and his daughter-in-law Celeste.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Becvar & Son Funeral Home & Cremation (5539 W 127th St, Crestwood, IL 60418). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
