He is survived by: his wife Rita F. Baker; his children, Kim Keller (Peter) of Oswego, IL, Kristie Panian (late Steve) of Joliet and Kelly Henley (Peter) of Geneva, IL; his grandchildren, Ben Kelller, Nate Panian (Ashley), Kylie Bornemann (Jonathan), Stella and Eli Henley; his great grandchildren, Arianna and Peyton Panian; and his siblings, Joann Gill (late Charles), Russell Baker (Anne), Dorothy Longest, Carol Atkins-Baker, James Baker (Charleen), Everett Lyle Baker, Judy Demorest (Bob), Lawrence Baker, Barbara Baker-Shope, Ronald Baker (Becky), Steven Baker (Lynn), Steve Miles and Peggy Loren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Overman-Jones Funeral Home (15219 Joliet Rd, Plainfield, IL 60544). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Walt's memory may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
