We are sad to announce that on May 6, 2021, at the age of 97, Vera Carico of Crest Hill, Illinois, born in Equality, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerome Barnett and Bernice Barnett (Downs); and her husband Hubert Carico. She is survived by: her children, Ronald Wilkins (Tillie) of Apex, NC, Margaret Perry (Mike) of Jacksonville, IL, James Wilkins (Sherry) of Fairmount, IL, Terry Wilkins (Marie) of Gaylord, MI and Gail Ashcraft (Keith) of Crest Hill, IL; her grandchildren, Nathan, Brandon, Sarah, Katie, Michael, Marc, Marty, Leigh Ann, Hilleary, Amanda, Hannah, Ryan, Benjamin and Amy; and her cousin Betty Barkman of Danville, IL.. She is also survived by twenty great grandchildren.
It is kindly requested that those in attendance of the visitation or services wear a mask and practice social distancing.
