It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Timothy C. Goolsby of Crest Hill, Illinois, who passed away on November 2, 2024, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Goolsby (Sealy) and William Douglas Goolsby; his siblings, Mary Pat Kalina (Wayne) and William D. Goolsby Jr.; and his mother-in-law Mary Jane Olivetti.
He is survived by: his niece Lisa; his wife Megan J. Goolsby (Olivetti); his son Ethan Goolsby; his sister-in-law Moira Olivetti; his siblings, John Goolsby (Kathy), Richard Goolsby (Mary Beth), Therese Noha (Gary), James Goolsby (Tracy), Daniel Goolsby (Penny), Elizabeth Lemke (Gary), Maureen Swiersz (Dave) and Christopher Goolsby (Peg); his sister-in-law Dorothy Goolsby; his friend Matt Stukel; and also, Moira and Tim. He is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home (3200 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60431). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus (604 N Raynor Ave, Joliet, IL 60435).
