We are sad to announce that on April 29, 2021, at the age of 74, Steven M. Szabo of Crest Hill, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emery Szabo and Caroline "Judy" Szabo of Hobart, IN; and his brother James. He is survived by: his wife Martha Szabo (Owen Ballard); his children, Stephani Cordano (Stan), Sherri Ohler (Randy) and Brett Szabo (Keirsten); his stepdaughters, DeAnna Ballard-Steinhauser (Gregg), Tina Ballard (Bobby) and Carrie Dolbee (Mark); his grandchildren, Mia Tran (Jack), Griffin Cordano, Ivy Watkins Szabo (Aaron), Cheney Ohler, Abby, Matthew Szabo, Blake Roberts (Shelly), Bailey, Frankie Roberts, Kamrin and Kaden Dolbee; his great grandchildren, Ella and Zoey; and his sister Carol Domingo.
All attending the visitation or service at the funeral home must wear facial covering and practice social distancing.
In lieu of flowers memorials to the family will be appreciated.
