He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward M. Waddell and Hannah L. Waddell (Washburn); his son Robert G. Waddell; his brother Gordon "Skippy" Waddell; and his brother-in-law Wayne Mueller.
He is survived by: his children, Jessica Hatcher of Bismarck, David Waddell of Crest Hill, Rebecca Alcorn of Crest Hill, Terrance Waddell (Mary) of Crest Hill and Rachel Watson (Chris) of Crest Hill, Illinois; and his sisters, Carolyn Turley of Ohio and Marsha Mueller of Altamont. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
