He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Mutz and Mary Mutz (Gregorash); and his siblings, Frances Cepiel (late Edward) and Jerry Mutz. He is survived by: his wife Frances Mutz (Smrekar); his children, Richard M. Mutz and Brigitte Oetter (Jim); his grandchildren, Jocelyn, Gunner and Roxanne Oetter; his sisters, Evelyn Pagnusat (late Albert) and Jeanette Ogary (late Val); and his sister-in-law Patricia Mutz.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made as gifts in Rick's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Lightways Hospice Care.
