It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack Facinelli of Crest Hill, Illinois, who passed away on March 13, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Facinelli and Mary Facinelli; his daughter Dawn Wierzbinski (late Jeff); his sister Rosemarie Oxley (late Jerry); and his friend Joe Troha.
He is survived by: his daughter Lyn Michalak (Mark); his grandchildren, Amanda Michalak, Caitlin Wierzbinski, Nate Michalak (Sarah) and Tyler Wierzbinski (Colleen); his great grandchildren, Wellington Jackson III, Maximillian, Bennett Michalak and Lincoln Wierzbinski; and his grandson Tony Zwirblis. He is also survived by many other extended family members, friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Tezak's Home (1211 Plainfield Rd, Joliet, IL 60435). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (416 N Chicago St, Joliet, IL 60432). A burial was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 2:15 PM to 2:45 PM at the St. Joseph Cemetery (1500 N Raynor Ave, Joliet, IL 60435).
