She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Shelman and Angeline Shelman. She is survived by: her husband John Haas; her children, Eric Mays (Leticia), Adam Mays and Stephanie Gamboa (Jorge); her grandchildren, Daniel and Alyssia Mays; and her brothers, Rick Shelman and Ken Shelman.
