She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Sr. Golob and Ann Golob (Nee Collofello). She is survived by: her husband Larry Riegel; her children, Kevin, Kim Dore (late Michael) and Kerry Marchiniak (Matt); her grandchildren, Grace Dore, Matthew Jr., Emma and Kaitlyn Marchiniak; her siblings, Kathy Brown (Rich) and Ed Golob (Kim); and her caregivers, Angie and Marsha. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cherished family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the O'Neil Funeral Home Chapel (1105 E 9th St, Lockport, IL 60441). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Ambrose Catholic Church (1705 Burry Cir Dr, Crest Hill, IL 60403). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at the Resurrection Catholic Cemetery (200 W Romeo Rd, Romeoville, IL 60446).
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Riegel family which will be donated to various local charities in Carol's name would be greatly appreciated.
