He was predeceased by: his parents, John Harms and Ruth Harms (Boughan); his siblings, Harold Harms and Doris Kuhlman; and his son Jeff Harms.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Harms of Crescent City; his sons, David Harms (Joyce) of Vancouver, Keith Harms (Jannette) of Delavan and Kevin Harms (Tina) of Paxton; his daughter-in-law Pam Harms of Watseka; and his grandchildren, Katie Robertson, Kyle Harms, Ira Harms, Byron Harms, Ahlden, Tal, Hank Harms, Jon Harms, Josh Harms and Jake Harms. He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the St. Peter Lutheran Church in Crescent City or to Faith Place in Danforth.
