He was predeceased by: his parents, George Christie and Margaret Christie; his sister Martha; and his brother-in-law Don Carson. He is survived by: his wife Christie; his daughters, Vivian Suzanne Markus of Walker, LA, Virginia Lee Davis (Brian) of Marion, IL and Jennifer Lynn Born (Thomas) of Lakeland, FL.; his grandchildren, Christina Wilson (Andre), Brad Davis, Katie Gilchrist, Matt Davis, Sarah Markus and Ben Markus; and his great grandchildren, Wyatt Wilson, Jackson Wilson, Lizzie Markus, James Davis, John Davis and Dylilah Markus.
