She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Otto Evans and Helen Genevieve Doss; her spouse Lindell Delbert Mitchell; her stepfather Marion Burnett; and her children, Rita Mitchell and Darrell Gene Mitchell.

She is survived by: her children, Randall Mitchell (Virginia) of Creal Springs and Amanda Saylor (Robbie) of Johnston City, Illinois; her granddaughters, Kristen Burnett (Damian) of Marion and Brittany Swenson (Devon) of Creal Springs; her great grandchildren, Madison, Autumn, Aubree, Haylie, Aria, Devon Jr. and Andrew; her siblings, Reverend John Burnett, Sr. (Linda) of Marion, William Burnett of Marion, Lela Dalton of Stonefort, Charlotte Brown (Charlie) of Galesburg and Marilyn Sue Sexton of Gilson, Illinois; and her nieces, Tabby Davis (Darrell), Tonia Dalton (Bobby Winters) and Tammy Lemasters. She is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
