We bid farewell to Anne Simmons of Creal Springs, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 22, 2025 at the age of 77. Anne touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude A., Sr. and Mary K. Burkholder (Turner); her stepbrothers, Claude A. Burkholder, Jr. and James C. Burkholder; and her half-sister Dorothy.
She is survived by: her daughter Andrea; her son-in-law Duane Lotts of New Auburn, WI; her grandchildren, Ashley Miles (Greg) of Eau Claire, WI and Duane Lotts, Jr. (Teagan) of Chetek, WI; her great grandchildren, Collin, Miranda, Dawson, Gannon, Emersyn, Quinn and Malia; and her sister Jane Rider. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Good Shepard Lutheran Church- Missouri Synod (1801 Westminster Dr, Marion, IL 62959). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois, 204 Halfway Road, Marion, IL 62959; envelopes will be available at the church.
