She was predeceased by: her parents, Coy Emery and Vena Emery (DeLoach); her daughters, Lou Ann and Melissa Jane; and her siblings, Jewell Davis, Florine Mathis, Rosamond Alexander, Harold Dean and Howard Emery.
She is survived by: her daughter Melinda McGowan (Gary) of Carterville; and her pets, Woody and Bootsie.
