It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Mae Evans (Cowden, Illinois), born in Pana, Illinois, who passed away on November 12, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Hicks and Rosie Hicks; her husband Charles; her granddaughter Stephanie; and her siblings, Warren Hicks, Nellie Zahradka, Bernice Coleman, Helen Sarver and Mary Lou Moore.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Warren Evans (Rhonda) of Cowden, Debbie Herbord of Pana, Connie Miller of Pana and Robert Evans (Sheli) of Cowden; and her grandchildren, Joshua Evans (Amber), Christopher Evans (Melissa), Joya Evans, Blake Evans, Tiffany Miller, Amanda Evans and Colton Evans. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Shirley's name to the Cowden Fire Department/First Responders.
