Banning of Cowden, Illinois, born in Shelbyville, Illinois, who passed away on December 12, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hanley Banning and Margaret Banning (Phillips); his brother Phil; and his parents-in-law, Carl and Joan Hamilton.
He is survived by: his wife Christy Hamilton of Cowden; his daughters, Dr. Whitney Anthonysamy (Allan) of St. Charles, MO and Dr. Shannon Wilson (Bradley) of Carbondale; his grandchildren, Boone, Asher Wilson and Finley Anthonysamy; his brother Rick Banning (Leslie) of Sheldon; and his siblings-in-law, Gayle Banning of Bethany, Debby of Shelbyville, Wayne Gray of Shelbyville, Todd of Shelbyville and Larry Burk of Shelbyville.
Memorials may be given in Randy's honor to the Cowden First Responders, Saving Orphaned Animals of Shelby County or treat someone to a root beer float or a bag of jelly beans.
