She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Ernest and Velma Lois Gaston (Carey); her husband Thomas Prater Bird; her daughter Connie Bird; her grandchildren, Tomi Milligan and Eric Bird; her great grandchild Walker; and her siblings, Charles, David, Gary, Betty, Ella Mae, Peggy and Bonnie.
She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Milligan of Cowden, April Hapner of Mode, Dena Seaton (Rodney) of Herrick, Ellen Durbin of Cowden and Lori Simpson of Pana; and her brother Darrell Gaston (Karen) of Shelbyville.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mound Cemetery-Cowden (300 N, Dry Point Township, IL 62422).
